UA No Weigh Playmaker Basketball Backpack
Choose the No Weigh Playmaker 6013319 when a documented inflated-ball opening matters more than a separate shoe chamber. Under Armour lists a fixed 32 L capacity and says the XL main compartment fits a ball and shoes, but it does not quantify ball size or place shoes in an independent pocket.
A wide opening for the team-practice load
Under Armour says the Playmaker zipper track is wide enough for a fully inflated ball and that its XL main compartment fits a ball and a pair of shoes. The wording addresses access as well as storage, although it does not quantify the ball size or promise room for a complete school load alongside that gear.
This is style 6013319: a fixed 32 L bag. Under Armour’s product page lists 20.1 inches high, while its current No Weigh comparison article lists 21.1 inches; both give 12.2 inches wide and 10.2 inches deep. Keep that official height conflict visible rather than treating either value as settled. The expandable No Weigh 6005747 is a different layout.
Ball and shoes share the main section
The main compartment has perforations for breathability. Under Armour does not describe an independent shoe chamber. If you carry used court shoes beside books or clothing, decide how you will contain them within that shared space.
Varsity Elite explicitly has a separate bottom shoe or clothing pocket. The standard No Weigh has a separated shoe/laundry pocket and expansion, but lacks the Playmaker's documented inflated-ball opening. That is the choice between these layouts.
The embroidery panel and media section
A front panel ready for embroidery gives teams a defined place for customization. Confirm the finished design and supply details with the provider. The media compartment fits up to a 16-inch MacBook Pro or similarly sized laptop and includes organizer pockets.
Two front zipped pockets and two large side bottle pockets keep smaller items outside the main gear space; the bottle pockets are specified for up to 32 oz. UA Suspension straps and LEVELED adjustment are also listed. These do not reduce the weight of the contents, so assess the bag with the ball-and-shoes load you intend to carry.
